Das Innere einer Teekannentülle gehört zu jenen schwer erreichbaren Stellen – Schwämme kommen dort nicht hin, und mit der Zeit sammeln sich leise Teerückstände und Wasserflecken an. AZMAYA hat diese Tüllbürste genau für diesen Zweck entwickelt. Die Zwinge ist aus Messing – korrosionsbeständig, sodass sie auch feuchten Bedingungen standhält – und das Borstenköpfchen besteht aus natürlicher Hanfpalm-Faser. Das Seidenband ist in Uji, Kyoto gefertigt – ein Detail, das aus einem Reinigungswerkzeug ein kleines Objekt macht, das einen Platz im Regal verdient.
Zur Anwendung: Die Abdeckung über die Tülle schieben, die Borsten hindurchführen und im Inneren des Siebs bewegen. Sie passt perfekt zur AZMAYA Kyusu-Tülle, funktioniert aber auch mit den meisten standardmäßigen Teekannöffnungen.

AZMAYA is a Tokyo-based design brand that develops functional objects through close collaboration with craftspeople across Japan. This spout broom brings together three materials — a brass ring formed by metalworkers in the Tsubame-Sanjo district, a handle wrapped in palm fiber (棕櫚, shuro) shaped by brush makers, and bristles of raw silk — each sourced from specialists in their respective craft.
The brass ring is turned and finished by hand; the shuro fiber handle is wrapped tightly in the manner of traditional Japanese brushes; the silk bristles are selected for stiffness and resilience appropriate to cleaning a spout without scratching. The result is a tool made with the same attention to material logic that AZMAYA applies across its entire range.
